MY COACHING STORY
After 5 long years, I walked away from an abusive relationship. I decided I wanted more for my daughter and me, so in 2005, I made the decision to relocate to Atlanta, GA. After being single for several years, I decided it was time to open my heart to the possibility of love.
Meeting potential suitors was the easy part, but building a lasting relationship proved to be a challenge. I knew what I wanted, at least I thought I did. But after each failed relationship, I questioned myself, "Are my standards too high?," "Could it be there just aren't enough eligible bachelors?" As I reflected on the events that led to the demise of each budding possibility, it ultimately became clear. I was the common denominator, the problem wasn't the men, with whom I'd crossed paths, the problem was me.
I committed to work on healing my mind, my body, and my spirit. Even though self awareness can be painful, I continued to do the work, I regained my confidence, became a better individual and reclaimed my life. I learned in order to have a fulfilling relationship in life, you must have a greater understanding of yourself.
I began coaching friends and family on how to reclaim their lives and become better individuals. I helped them with online dating profiles, life after divorce, coaching couples, building confidence, how to date, breakups, and so much more. This motivated me to turn my newfound passion into a Full-Time career.
